What is Ventilator Challenge UK?

The VentilatorChallengeUK is a consortium of major UK technology, manufacturing and engineering companies who have joined together to help meet the UK Government's and NHS' urgent requirements for medical ventilators during the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Companies within the VentilatorChallengeUK consortium have already received formal orders from the UK Government to manufacture and supply in excess of 10,000 medical ventilators at the very earliest opportunity.

In response to the NHS' challenge  to treat unprecedented numbers of patients suffering with the coronavirus, many leading manufacturers, engineers, designers and medical equipment experts are prioritising the production and supply of these vital ventilators to serve the national need.
